BIODIESEL 11 PASSENGER VAN
Our green cars are very comfortable for 3 passengers. In some instances we can accommodate 4 passengers with limited luggage. We also use Ford F350 series 11 passenger luxury vans running on domestically sourced biodiesel fuel. We are presently running on soybean sourced biofuel. The farms are located right here in the United States, providing domestic employment to hard working American farmers.
Below are a few interesting facts provided by the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, Department of Chemistry, quoting Professor George Huber:
"Growing Biomass as an energy crop could double the national farm income, from $3 billion to $6 billion per year."
Another interesting fact from the same source: "Biofuels are, in effect, carbon dioxide-free. What CO2 is emitted by burning biofuels would later be consumed by further biomass regrowth. So it's a net zero emission when you consider the whole life cycle of the process. Consequently, biofuel could reduce domestic carbon-dioxide emissions by 85 percent."
And one last interesting note from the same source:"Potentially the United States could produce about 1.3 billion dry tons of cellulosic biomass per year, or enough to replace four billion barrels of crude oil - more than half the amount Americans burn annually."
